What It's AboutThe Weaverville Police Department invites you to bring your motorcycle on October 10, 2009 for a 40-mile fun ride for a good cause. All toys and donations go to the "Cops for Kids" Toyr Drive, which is used to help Weaverville/North Buncombe children and families. How You Can HelpCome to the Bike Run on October 10. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the O.T.S. Parking Lot (220 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville) and the Bike Run starts at Noon. Entry fee is $10 or a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more. Your donation makes you eligible to ride in the Bike Run. All styles of motorcycles, hot rods, classic and exotic cars are welcome. Your donation also enters you for the door prize drawings, and free breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.
