"Commitment to Our Community"

The Maney Family would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join our family and friends by welcoming the upcoming events in Weaverville in October. After the recent passing of our brother LeeRoy Maney, our family wanted to keep his civic spirit going. Our friends and community has helped our family so much as we grew up here in Weaverville, now we have the opportunity to give back to our community by helping support the following causes.

The events will bring funding to Buncombe County Schools Scholarship Foundation (specific to North Buncombe High School), as well as the Eblen Foundation. With the exception of the Bike Run, which is specific to “Cops For Kids”, monies collected from booth rental, space rental and donations will go to support the above-mentioned foundations. This would allow assistance to people of all ages in our community.

Weaverfest would consist of several events. These events will encourage our community to come together and enjoy our beautiful town and its businesses, as well as supply clean family fun and festivities. We are hopeful that “Weaverfest” will become an annual family event for our town.
